Lizzie King’s Parlor honors the local:
We serve craft beers from New York breweries, wines from the North Fork on Long Island and the Finger Lakes region upstate, coffee from our neighbors at Abbotsford, pastries and bread from Bien Cuit on Smith Street, and meats from Fleisher’s Craft Butchers on 5th and Sackett. Our signature cocktails feature New York-distilled liquor. Even our name conjures a bit of local lore: in 1873, Lizzie Lloyd King claimed to carry a drop of Charles Goodrich’s blood in a locket around her neck - the man she allegedly murdered in an apartment just around the corner on Lincoln Place. It was one of the most shocking and most followed New York stories of its time. Lizzie King’s Parlor is a modern New York neighborhood place reminiscent of the time, an “old-Brooklyn” bar for stories over a pour-over coffee, or a cold brew direct from the tap, or a glass of wine and a charcuterie platter. Wherever you’re from, we hope Lizzie King’s will be one of your locals.
